Application

To determine the permeability of leather to water vapor by measuring the rate at which water vapor passes through a test specimen.

Principle

The circular test specimen is clamped across the open end of aluminum cup containing specifled volume of the desiccants , and placed in a constant temperature and humidity chamber. After a set time ,weigh the final weight ,and calculate the permeability to water vapor.

1. Materials of outer chamber: 2mm Double-sided color coated steel with power coated surface.

   Materials of inner chamber: using SUS304 stainless steel, seamless welded. Beside, the outer structure of the inner chamber is reinforced with 10mm steel plates to meet the structural strength requirements of the bending test.

2. Leather Water Vapor Permeability Tester with vacuum glass observation window, more effecitive to observe the testing situation.

3. Temperation control: adopt 7inch color touch screen with Chinese and English version, easy to operate.

4. All the testing cups are made of aluminum, have a good corrosion resistance and anti-rust property.
