Sharp Point Tester is used to determinate that points on toys and other articles intended for use by children under 8 years of age. It is suitable for toy safe as per standards: ISO 8124-1 EN-71-1 16 CFR 1500 ASTM F 963 GB6675-2.
This instrument is mainly used to tumble test for Wheeled toys weighing more than 3 lb (1.4 kg) but not more than 10 lb (4.5 kg). Standards: ASTM F963 section 8.7.3.
