The Duanwu Festival, also known as The Duanyang Festival, the Dragon Boat Festival, chongwu Festival, The Dragon Festival, Zhengyang Festival, tianzhong Festival, etc., the festival is on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, is a traditional Chinese folk festival. The holiday time for the Dragon Boat Festival is: From June 25 to June 27, 2020, there are three days in total, and work is normal on June 28 (Sunday). Respecting and loving the elders are the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation. September 29, 2019, GESTER organized a group to go to several community sites in Licheng District, this activity aimed to help the special elders--who are lonely, childless and even without family. Our volunteers took milk, edible oil, rice, quilt and so on to visit them in an orderly manner and carry out services. They were very delighted and moved by our arrival. We chatted with them, checked healthy situation for them, and spent a brief while pleasant time with them. When we were ready to leave, they were very reluctant to let us go. We sincerely hope that they will be healthy and enjoy their old age. We GESTER practiced public good with practical actions, meanwhile, hereby we call on everyone to pay more attention to this special lonely elderly group and try yourself  can to help them. We will continue to carry forward the spirit of GESTER and carry out more charity activities to deliver warmth, give back to society.

The year is the annual National Day on October 1, the birthday of our great motherland. Along with ups and downs, it's been 70 years of our mothers, this day, this nation will celebrate the festival at the venue. Adults will usually indulge in fragrant mooncakes of many varieties with a good cup of piping hot Chinese tea， while the little ones run around with their brightly-lit lanterns. The Mid-Autumn Festival probably began as a harvest festival. The festival was later given a mythological flavour with legends of Chang-E， the beautiful lady in the moon. To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, GESTER will report a Mid-Autumn Festival cake every year. After the gathering, everyone will have a dinner together. Our company will have a holiday on September 13(Friday) to September 15 (Sunday) holiday, a total of 3 days off. GESTER wish you a happy Mid-Autumn festival.

2019.4.22 Gester Instruments Co., Ltd. celebrated its 22nd anniversary celebration. All employees of the company gathered to share the happiness and joy from this big family. December 24-25, 2018, all members of GESTER went to the Putian Jiulong Valley National Forest Park in Fujian Province for a two-day expansion training. This expansion training aims to train the team, enhance trust, promote team communication, enhance teamwork. It also encourages everyone to take responsibility, trust each other, challenge themselves. This expansion training helped to enhance the team's desire to advance and cohesiveness, and helped to create a united, passionate, excellent business team with strength and ability. After arriving in the Jiulong Valley, we first randomly divided into four teams (Commando team, Nine Dragons Team, Musou Team, Invincible Team), and each team elected a captain to facilitate the organization of the event. With the active participation of each team, 4 teams have successfully completed and show the design of the team name, team call and team logo within the specified time, and also have promised their own punishment once lost the game. On the first day of the event, four teams participated in the four training programs:Take water from a limited area; Build a device with some tubes to blow the balloon;Move the tower with puzzle; Have all members cross a small window.Each team completed the training well and shared their feelings of success and failure in training. The training also helped the team to fully understand the management awareness of team trust, effective communication, rational organization, leadership, execution and teamwork. In the "Life and Death Grid" game, there is a net made by ropes hanging between two trees, and there is only one small grid on the net. Everyone is required to go through the grid one by one, and no part of the body (including hair, clothes) can touch the net, otherwise it will cause "electric shock." As long as one person cause "electric shock", the whole team fails, and those who passed previously must return. This is a very tough and difficult game and one of the most educational projects. At first everyone was eager to try, but the facts found that individuals alone could not pass. Under the arrangement of the captain, we tried to help few members cross first. The process was very difficult, several times of the "electric shock" happened and we had to restart again and again. With effective teamwork and patience, some members had crossed the grid without “electric shock". With their help in other side of the grid, more and more members had crossed and we finally finished the game.  Although we won the game as a team, the work of every member was important and they were responsible for the results and the final performance. Mistakes in any member can lead to “electric shock” and lead the team to failure. When we were helping member crossing the grid, each one should pay attention to the actions of other members and be kindly reminded once they were making mistake.
